Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child at my side and other children in the cradle, I worked 12 hours a day sanding flooring and tearing off wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing started to seem logical, however it wasn't quite done. The project would require money, effort, and of course my favourite shopping experience to furnish this house. To stay on budget I began attending estate sales with my three brothers to search for jewels in the rough. Our weekly routine consisted of walking from Thursday to Saturday through garage sales buying a mixture of antique and brand new furniture as well as spending on weekdays painting and sanding the driveway. My love for furniture repair started with an appearance like this. Even after our house was fully furnished, I could not stop! I also had a booth at the market to sell items. It was possible to expand my space because I owned many more pieces than I needed. Over 1000 people visited my house in one weekend to buy everything on the ground floor. Growing Days was created in this house. While my company grew, so did our little family. I was trying to find that perfect balance of having to start a new business and be a mommy too. Growing Days seemed like the perfect match. In 2013, my daughter Nora was our fourth baby. The direction my company was heading was fantastic, but I had to take some time off. I took a break from creating furniture for vintage homes, and slowed down my pace and stayed at home to raise the children. This was just the thing I needed. Within a couple of months, my phone started to ring. People contacted me asking to assist them in decorating their homes and interiors. The majority of them came into my residence at my open house for furniture. In the following time I started taking on clients according to my schedule. Before long I had multiple accounts, as well as a house renovations company. If you had said to me that this company of mine would turn into an idea for a TV show that airs on the DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. Actually, I smile slightly when I recall it.
